Our Beliefs

Statement of Faith
We believe
-
that there is one God, eternally existing in three Persons, The Father, the Son and theHoly Spirit;
-
that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and are inerrant in the original writings and that they are the supreme and final authority for faith and life;
-
that God created man in His own image, but that man, tempted by Satan, sinned with all his descendants, and fell into physical and spiritual death;
-
that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, is true God and true Man;
-
that the Lord Jesus Christ, as representative and substitutionary sacrifice, died for your sins and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood;
-
that the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected, that He ascended into heaven, today lives there for us as High Priest and Advocate, and will personally return in power and glory to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords;
-
that man can be redeemed only through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, that his salvation is personal, received by grace through faith, that man becomes a child of God by being born again of the Holy Spirit, through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ;
-
that the soul is immortal.

We believe in the resurrection of the body, in the general judgement at the end of the world and the eternal happiness of the righteous;
that the Church is made up of all believers throughout the ages, irrespective of denominational affiliation.
Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried;
He descended to hell.

The third day He rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
